College Hill Presbyterian Church
Sunday Worship Services

On Sunday mornings, CHPC has an exciting worship life where the church experiences its source and culmination. With wonderful music, inspiring preaching, and a warm community, this is a time for meaningful connection. Other services throughout the year include Advent services, Christmas Eve services, Lent and Easter services, Children's Sunday services, Youth Sunday services, and the Anna Davis Music Sunday, a celebration of music made possible by a bequest from Anna Davis.
Music

The music program is led by a passionate staff who incorporate diverse musical expressions and instruments. There are fantastic ways to connect through CHPC music programs:

Choir: Meets on Thursday evenings at
7:30 PM.
Bells: Meets periodically on Thursday
evenings to present pieces in worship.
Children's Choir (Grades 3-6): Meets on
Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM.

Fellowship

In spite of the fact that most church members live rather hectic lives, the congregation loves to get together for food, fellowship and fun!  We have regular dinners around special occasions such as Advent and Easter.

2nd Sundays: We have a reception after worship on the second Sunday of each month.

Adult Dinner Group: For adults in the 45+ age range there is an Adult Dinner Group that meets monthly on the third Sunday evening from October through May.  Participants are divided among host homes, and a rotation system guarantees that everyone eats with everyone else several times through the year.

Women's Circles: We have a women's Bible Study that meets on Monday mornings at 10:30 AM and a Book Club that meets on alternate Tuesdays at 7:30 PM.

Men's Group: We have a men's group in the works with Bible study and/or Fellowship Breakfasts.

Membership

Becoming a member at CHPC is a great way to be part of a lively community active in a ministry of compassion towards others as well as a way to find fulfillment and satisfaction in this life!

New members classes are held periodically led by Rev. Robert C. Smith. There are a number of ways to connect with others through service, fellowship, and worship. The church also provides a number of programs for youth and children throughout the week. There are also significant ways to connect with the larger community.
