MISSION
The members of CHPC are committed to sharing God's grace, compassion and hope. The church participates in a large number of mission activities in the Easton community. Safe Harbor (a shelter for homeless adults) and ProJeCt (which offers a food bank, other forms of assistance, and a literacy program) are two particular recipients of the congregation’s mission dollars and volunteer involvement. Other agencies we support include Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army, the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children, and the Easton Area Community Center. The church also maintains a Used Furniture Bank to assist those who are beginning a new life in a home or an apartment. The church’s Board of Deacons holds twice-yearly rummage sales, as well as an annual Strawberry Festival, the proceeds of which are given to local mission. CHPC is active locally and globally in creative ways.

Global Partnership
In 1998, as the result of a "chance" encounter at a meeting of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, a partnership was begun with the Hungarian Reformed Church in Sovata, Romania. The partnership was formalized in 2000. We have been blessed to create an atmosphere of understanding between our congregations by sharing devotional materials, photographs, videos and e-mails concerning our cultures and activities, as well as occasional visits by congregational members.
